Costa Rica Tour

The trip was in two parts. First we took a nine-day tour, then a six-day home stay in Alajuela.

Starting in the center, we went counter-clockwise to Tortuguero, Arenal, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio National Park, and then back to Alajuela.

Roads aren't so hot, and there are lots of mountains, so transit times tended to be long, but the scenery was beautiful, and there was always something new and interesting to learn.
